The BCS IT User Level 1 & 2 Qualifications
The Level 1 & 2 Qualifications in IT User Skills are recognized on the National Qualifications Framework, and so are eligible for funding in England via the Learning and Skills Council. Level 2 is the equivalent of a GCSE grade B pass in IT for schools, and also is part of an IT package for Specialist Schools for IT skills education. Other regions and home countries also have various initiatives for supporting the development of IT User Skills. So there is UK-wide support for many agencies who need to develop IT User Skills within the community at all levels.
