Reduced registration administration and costs can also come through the use of electronic ECDL logbooks where the BCS have deals in place for specific sectors. The use of electronic logbooks to support ECDL was pioneered during our development partnership with a major public sector organisation.

 

We can provide online installation and Invigilator Training and Accreditation capability if required. Face to face Invigilator Training can be provided in the implementation phase of our work with client organisations.

Activ data management is best delivered online over the Internet, but can just as easily be implemented across your Local Area Network or on stand-alone training and testing machines.

 

Activ Solutions feature simulated, competence-based Testing that runs independently of underlying applications, and examines the candidate’s ability to actually demonstrate the required skills. All aspects of post-test student data and result management from the user PCs are automated.

 

We provide a significant suite of tailored Management Information reporting; these reports provide all the information you will need for internal and external management and auditing.

 

We can manage student data transfer between the Testing Database and most HRM Data Systems.

 

We offer practice diagnostic Assessment Tests for most BCS Qualifications. These can be used to identify the training needs of your students, or as pre-exam revision. Use of the Assessments increases first time pass rates significantly, resulting in further savings in training time and costs.

 

The Testing Software is entirely scenario-based, as required by the ECDL Version 4, and other BCS syllabuses.

Through BCS Premier Service we include automated final Certification management, meaning that your Candidates' Certificates are automatically dispatched once they successfully complete their final ECDL test.

 

Where required, a wider Training Needs Analysis capability can be provided to integrate ECDL with your strategic Training and Information Systems requirements.
