Landmark Agreement Signed for Certification Testing

The ECDL Foundation (ECDL-F), ICDL Asia Pacific (ICDLAP) and Activ Training Limited (Activ) have signed a landmark agreement in relation to the provision of certification testing to ICDLAP, now a wholly owned subsidiary of ECDL-F. |
Under this new agreement, Activ will provide the new improved version of its highly acclaimed online Automated Test System across the Asia Pacific region and will work very closely with Singapore-based ICDLAP to establish ICDL as the premier basic computer skills qualification in this rapidly developing part of the world.

Activ will also provide its ECDL-F approved e-Citizen Test System through ICDLAP, in order to develop and support the emerging market in Asia Pacific for this entry level certification programme. The Activ system is already being used to deliver e-Citizen testing to 100,000 people in Sri Lanka, funded by the national government.

Activ will provide multi-lingual versions of its Test System, together with high level technical and administrative support, as ICDLAP continues to build a network of Licensees and ICDL Approved Test Centres throughout the region.
Activ Training is a privately owned international company headquartered in the UK and is a leading publisher of Automated Test Systems and e-learning courseware used across the world.
