This new, single unit qualification can be taken alongside ECDL (for example to provide a natural progression for candidates from ECDL Essentials) or as a basic introduction to Word Processing.Initially, the BCS are offering free registration for the unit until September 2008, but only for candidates who are already registered for ECDL Essentials or ECDL Extra. The L1WP qualification became available as a stand-alone product for a nominal registration charge of £10 plus VAT from January 2008. How to request your L1WP tests
If you would like to have these registrations and tests added to your ActivTest account, please raise a standard Purchase Order for 20 L1WP test licences at no charge or for a licence fee of £100 (see above). Then, when you have used these, you can request more. In fact you can do so as soon as you have less than 10 test packs remaining (although you cannot have more than 20 unused test packs at any point).
